Far beneath the surface most people only see, adventurous souls reach out and share a Dance. Their breath mingles. They sustain each other. Is this romance? Love? Joyful play? Or are they struggling to survive a turbulent environment in which each one needs the other’s touch? For now, they aid one another, slipping through the waters in cooperative strength. In time, though, one may weigh the other down, push away, or cling as the tides draw them both down towards change. Around them, the world swells and pulsates, transforming everything within reach. Its creatures, for now, share the Dance, echoing the efforts of those partners and following their pace. It’s possible, though, that in time those creatures will turn on the Dancers, devouring them to feed themselves. Each Communion has the potential to create both beauty and destruction. The eventual end will depend a lot upon the Dancers and the choices they make in this embrace.
