Pollen at their fingertips!
Pollen in their hair!
They spread their wicked fairydust
In swaths throughout the air.
They giggle in the underbrush
And gossip with the bees
And snortle at the sneezing children
Playing in the trees.

They curtsey deep to Dandelion
And dance from Rose to Rose
And brush their lacy wingtips
Down the fragrant Sweet Pea rows.

With nods to Pansy, Primrose, Poppy
And to Daisy (How do you do?)
They dream of Summer fruits to come
While sipping nectar dew.
